In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Inglewood First UMC’s Virginia Beckett Food Pantry will be open on schedule on Thursday, March 19. We recognize that many in our community are in greater need for food and groceries in this challenging season.
In care for volunteers and food recipients, our team is following the following health protocols:
- Groceries will be bagged inside and brought outside for food recipients. Guests of will be allowed to enter the grocery preparation area.
- To limit crowds, grocery bags will be offered beginning at 9:45 am
- All volunteers will wear gloves (which will be changed between tasks) and face masks
- all tables and other items that are used will be regularly wiped down with disinfectants
- Hand Sanitizer will also be available for volunteers and guests.
- Restrooms will not be available for public use.
Thank you all for your patience as we help one another in this sensitive time! God is with us! We are not alone! Thanks be to God!
