Psalm 66:1-4 (New Revised Standard Version)

1 Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth;
2 sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise.
3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power, your enemies cringe before you.
4 All the earth worships you; they sing praises to you, sing praises to your name.”

Summary:

Today’s scripture is a charge to live with joy because God has brought us through and God is with us now. Don’t let the world steal your joy! The joy of the Lord is our strength!

In 2 Timothy 1:3-7, Paul encourages Timothy that the faith that sustained his grandmother and his mother resides in him. Be encouraged that that same faith is within all of us. The world didn’t give us this faith, this hope or this joy and the world can’t take it away!
