The butterfly effect is the idea that small, seemingly trivial events may ultimately result in something with much larger consequences. As people of faith, we believe that no prayer, no act of service, no offering is insignificant, for it has the potential to lead to greater things in God!
In Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s final book, he responded to the question “Where do we go from here? Chaos or community?” While in a cocoon, a caterpillar occupies a space of possibility and peril before it becomes a butterfly. By the grace of God, good can come from Nazareth’s cocoon. Come and see.
