Psalm 26:1-3 (New Revised Standard Version)

1 Vindicate me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in the LORD without wavering. 2 Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and mind. 3 For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to you.

Summary:

For the month of October, we will journey through the Psalms and be reminded that in the midst of challenging and trying times, we can “sing the Lord’s song in a strange land.”  It may take time to learn some new lyrics, sing in a new key or build the confidence to sing at all, but the Psalms show us there that we are able to discover trust, love, hope and peace when we are able to sing the Lord’s Song!

The Psalmist says that God’s love is steadfast, faithful and trustworthy.  If we trust in the Lord, then the Lord can trust us.
