Psalm 107:1-3 (Common English Bible)

1 “Give thanks to the Lord because he is good,
because his faithful love lasts forever!”

2 That’s what those who are redeemed by the Lord say,
the ones God redeemed from the power of their enemies,

3     the ones God gathered from various countries
from east and west, north and south.

Summary:

Based on John Wesley’s General Rules for Christian Living our worship series for August is themed, The Blueprint: A Guide to Follow Jesus. We are exploring a “blueprint” of what it is to be followers of Jesus Christ.

God is Good and by God’s prevenient grace, God is with us before the realize it! We can follow Jesus when we receive the grace God has already given and respond with the love for all creation.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What does the word “grace” mean to you?
  2. How has God been faithful to you?
  3. How do you express gratitude for God’s grace in your life?
