The butterfly effect is the idea that small, seemingly trivial events may ultimately result in something with much larger consequences. As people of faith, we believe that no prayer, no act of service, no offering is insignificant, for it has the potential to lead to greater things in God!
Chrysalis is the stage of a butterfly’s metamorphosis when it is protected by the shell of the cocoon. It can seem that butterflies appear suddenly, but they emerge when they are ready. In this scripture, the sons of Zebedee emerge from their shells to follow Jesus.
