Through the season of Lent, we follow Jesus through the wilderness in preparation for the Resurrection. We fast, pray and work, not to stay where we are in life, but to get to the otherside.
The Psalmist reminds us to thank God for redemption. We show God gratitude through sacrificial giving. Since God goes above and beyond to save us, we must go above and beyond to show our praise.
