31-Day Prayer Challenge Q&A
Have questions about how our 31-Day Prayer Challenge works? On Sunday, October 3 @ 12:30 pm, we will gather via Zoom with web strategist, Pastor Linda Furtado, on how prayer and journaling will help you and the church in this season!
Through the month of October, experience a guided practice of prayer through journaling. You will spend time each morning writing scripture and sharing thoughts in light of the text.
This year, we will also be prompted to pray on how to love our neighbors in our campaign to build affordable housing in our own community.
Throughout the month of October, participants will:
- Receive a daily e-mail prompt with (1) biblical reflection (2) a journaling activity and (3) a housing story for what to pray for in our community.
- Join a 12:30 – 1:25 pm Sunday Zoom Gathering to reflect on our week of prayer and look to the week ahead.
Our church and our families are faced with many challenges. It can be hard to see how God is moving with us. A discipline God has given us to grow in spirit is prayer. Led by Pastor Linda Furtado of crossvocational.org, all members and friends of our church and supportive community are encouraged to join us on this “prayer journey” together!

The 31-Day Prayer Challenge experience is a guided practice of prayer through journaling. You will spend time each morning writing scripture and sharing thoughts in light of the text. Each evening, you will spend time centering yourself in mind, body, spirit, a focus on self and a focus on your relationship with others.
