Sunday, May 14 | Mother’s Day | Minister Latanya Cunningham
Min. Latanya Cunningham is originally from Columbus, Ohio and has lived in LA since 2009. She is a mother of 3 and grandmother of 10. A recently retired social worker providing intensive case management services to our homeless population specifically, she is a participant in the Community Developers Program through the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church and a licensed local pastor (course of study completion) in the West Ohio Conference of the UMC. Min. Cunningham is a member of the Cal-Pac Strengthening the Black Church for the 21st Century Conference Committee, Cal-Pac Black Methodists for Church Renewal and serves as a pulpit supply preacher at Faith UMC of Los Angeles. Her home Church is St Mark UMC of Los Angeles.

Min. Saun Hough is the Assistant Pastor at Crossroads United Methodist Church where he served as the Minister of Community Engagement under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Adrienne Zackery. His ministry passions are in the areas of social justice reform, criminal justice reform, and community outreach. Saun is married to his lovely wife Sharnette, with whom he shares 3 children and 4 grandchildren.”

Yvonne Figueroa, Director of Organizing for LA Voice, was exposed to community organizing while attending California State University Long Beach. After graduating, she worked on various political and community campaigns before joining the labor movement in the long term care industry. She loves hiking, camping, reading, live music, eating, and is open to all kinds of new experiences!
