What do you, your children, or your grandchildren know about the real Black Panthers? How much have you learned about the Civil Rights movements and the movements within it?
Join us for a “meant for fun,” but thought provoking “Faith at the Movies” for the entire family: “Black Panther” will be shown on Friday, February 17 (at 6pm) for those who would like to catch up to the movies, and the sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be screened on February 19 (at 3pm), and then join us for an important Panel Discussion after the movie (at 6pm).
The Panel discussion is also a stand alone event itself and will NOT be a review or critique on the Black Panther movies, but more of an educational opportunity to hear about the different movements of Civil Rights and how we continue to work together today in the struggle.
**Disclaimer: Both Black Panther movies are rated PG-13. We’ll show a kid-friendly Disney movies in the Activity Room as needed.
